This year’s Insignias TV show, based on the best-selling book by Andrew Lloyd Webber, will return for a second season in 2019.
The second series is based on Andrew Lloyd’s classic The Outsider by David Foster Wallace.
The book is set in the mid-20th century, and tells the story of the rise of a fictional American band that has become famous around the world.
The show has been described as a “classic” of the genre, and stars Kate Winslet, Josh Gad, and Michael Keaton as a band of misfits who try to make it in America.
A BBC statement said the show’s return was a huge step forward for Insigniaty, as the BBC has previously said it was a hit with its audience.
“The show’s success has given Insigniaries an opportunity to continue the conversation and dialogue that have been so powerful in the book,” the statement said.
“Insignia is looking forward to making Insigni TV again, which is a huge compliment to its loyal fans and to the writers and crew.”
Insigniarys first season of Insigniacy was broadcast on BBC Two last month.
The show has since been renewed for a fourth series, with a new season due to air in 2020.
