Knicks at Lakers odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Lakers 113, Knicks 109

Money line

The Knicks are 11-13 on the road this season but have dropped six of their last seven road contests.

The Lakers are 16-12 at home this season and have won six of their last eight home games.

Having Davis in the lineup for the Lakers is enough to beat a Knicks team that is struggling.

Take the LAKERS (-145).

Against the spread

The Knicks are 25-27 ATS overall this season and 12-12 ATS on the road this season. Only three times since the start of December have the Knicks stopped a losing streak at one game. In that time, they have five multi-game losing streaks.

The Lakers are 23-30 ATS overall, but that is mostly skewed by how they have done against the Western Conference. They are 11-20 ATS against the West and 12-10 ATS against the East.

The Lakers are also 5-1 ATS following their last six straight-up losses.

With the spread so small, it doesn’t make sense to think the Lakers will win the game but only win by one. That gives you no room at all.

Take the LAKERS -2.5 (-112).

Over/Under

The Knicks are 27th in the league in scoring. They have scored 108 or more in three straight games, but their scoring average for the last nine games is 102.1, which is below their season average of 104.2.

They also allow the sixth-fewest points in the league.

The Lakers have put up 110 or more points in three of their last four games.

They won’t need a ton of scoring to go Over the projected total tonight.

Take OVER 212.5 (-112).
